Just fyi,

 

I have approved transfer today of the IBM 513 from Large Stores (recent Palo Alto-based donation 
of unit record equipment, incl. the big 407—all by the gate).

The team—essentially Bob Erickson--are to perform a non-destructive asswessment of the unit’s 
mechanical and elceetrical systems.

I will attach this information to the artifact record for future reference… 
and it also may be useful wrt a restoration.
